Stop Sabotaging Your Leadership: How Respecting Team Time Builds High-Performing Relationships

Leaders, your time is not more important than your team’s.

You fail your team when you cancel meetings together.

And the most important one?

Your 1:1

Team members plan their week around this time with you.

So when you cancel or show up late, it’s disrespectful.

You waste their time and damage your relationship.

Stop making excuses to your team…

👉 For being unprepared – it takes little preparation to be present and engaged 👉 When meetings overlap – it’s your responsibility to guard your time 👉 If you think this is a low priority (hint: its not) – set a better agenda 👉 When personal commitments get in the way – plan better

If a pickleball game trumps a 1:1, reassess your priorities.

Your team deserves consistency and respect.
